The Ameliorative Role of Cranberry Extract Use on Hematological Changes Induced by Lead acetate in Rats

Lead poisonousness is a widely recognized type of heavy metal poisoning in humans and animals. So, this study aimed to assess the ameliorative role cranberry extract use on hematological changes induced by lead acetate rats. A total number 40 adult male albino rats weighing approximately 200 ± 20 g were randomly assigned into four groups; Normal control group, group 2; Positive control, at dose (50 PPM) for 45 days, 3; then Cranberry (75 mg/kg) days also 4; (150 days. Blood samples collected EDTA tubes examinations. Oral administration significantly decreased erythrocyte count, hemoglobin, packed cell volume mean levels comparison with normal (P< 0.0001). Addition 75 150 mg/kg increased positive leukocytes lymphocyte, neutrophils, eosinophil monocytes count Our results clearly indicate that ameliorates acetate-treated
